⚠️ 'Tribe' Text Message Scam ⚠️
If you have received a text message or WhatsApp from 'Tribe', this has no connection at all to Research Tribe – we do not request a CV or phone number from our members.
All genuine messages sent by us are through secure authenticated email only.
Examples of the scam messages we have been made aware of include:
"Hello! I’m a representative from the HR team at Tribe. We’ve recently reviewed your CV and believe you could be a great fit for a remote only opportunity we’re currently offering. This is a flexible part-time or full-time remote position, with responsibilities focused on assisting merchants by providing product reviews. The work is straightforward, and we will provide full training to help you get started quickly. Work just 60-90 minutes per day Daily earnings range from £500 to £1,000, depending on your availability Work anytime, from anywhere If you’re interested in joining us, please contact us via WhatsApp: [removed]"

"Hello, I’m from the Trbie HR team. We’ve noticed that your CV is gaining strong attention in the market, and we’d like to introduce you to an exciting work opportunity. We offer flexible remote part-time or full-time positions, along with comprehensive pre-employment training, completely free of charge. You can work around your own schedule, with as little as 60 minutes of commitment per day. Daily earnings range from £300 to £800, and we guarantee a monthly income of no less than £8,000, with payments made on a daily basis. If you’re interested in this opportunity, please feel free to contact me via WhatsApp at: [removed]"

Participating in research is legitimate and should always be a safe way to help shape the future of products and services. When you sign up with trusted platforms like ours, your safety and personal data is respected and protected.
Unfortunately, not all platforms or opportunities to take part in research are the same and there are a number of common warning signs to look out for including:- Receiving messages from unknown emails or phone numbers
- Promises of high rewards for minimal effort
- Requests to pay money upfront
- Requests for bank account information before taking part
- Requests for email logins, ID documents or National Insurance numbers
- Requests to open suspicious links or attachments
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
